Frequently Asked Questions and Terms and Conditions

  • Do I have to book?
    Yes, all visits to Willow Vale are strictly by appointments and bookings only. Please contact us for more information and to make a booking.
  • How big are the groups?
    We offer intimate experiences so groups will be no more than 6 people.
  • What happens if the weather is bad?
    If unfortunately the weather is really bad or there is a met office weather warning of high winds, heavy rain or periods of extreme heat. It will not be an enjoyable experience for you or our animals. We will contact you prior to your visit to rearrange your visit for a more suitable time.
  • Do you allow Children?
    Yes but our handling experiences are not suitable for children under the age of 5 (under 16’s must also be accompanied by a paying adult and supervised at all times. We require one adult per child (under16) therefore only 3 children are permitted per group. Please do not bring buggies and pushchairs as the ground is not suitable in all areas.
  • Do you allow dogs?
    Strictly no dogs are allowed at any point during your visit. Please do not bring them with you.
  • Is there a smoking area?
    There is strictly NO Smoking or Vaping allowed anywhere on site.
  • What should we wear?
    All of our experiences are outdoors so suitable clothing should be worn. Sturdy footwear is required as some terrains are uneven and at times may be wet or muddy. No flappy clothing or umbrellas as these can spook the animals. We take biosecurity seriously, so you will be asked to dip your footwear on arrival.
  • Will we be supervised?
    Yes, you will be supervised by one of our experienced team throughout your visit.
  • What facilities do you have?
    Hard standing car parking is available. There are also toilets and hand washing facilities available on site. Light refreshments are available and areas for you to enjoy your own picnic.
  • What happens if I am late?
    We require you to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your experience. If you are going to be late please contact us as soon as possible. If you are in a mixed group and the experience has already started you may miss the opportunity and will be required to rearrange your experience to another time.
  • What happens if I cancel?
    If you need to cancel your booking you must do so within 48 hours of your experience. You will be given the option to rearrange or receive a refund. Any cancellations made after 48 hours will not be eligible for a refund.
